# AI observability

Connect Langfuse and LangSmith for live-agent traces and runs.

Langfuse and LangSmith share the same shape: project API keys that pull about **30 days** of agent-related runs into Caliber’s agents surfaces (when those integrations are connected).

{% tabs %}
{% tab title="Langfuse" %}
**Auth:** Host URL + public key (`pk-lf-…`) and secret key (`sk-lf-…`)\
**Who:** Langfuse project owner

1. Open project **Settings → API Keys** in Langfuse.
2. In Caliber, open **Settings → Integrations → Langfuse**.
3. Paste host + key pair.

**What Caliber reads:** Traces for live-agent runs, cost, and latency.
{% endtab %}

{% tab title="LangSmith" %}
**Auth:** Service or personal API key (`lsv2_pt_…`) + base URL (US/EU)\
**Who:** LangSmith project / workspace owner

1. Create an API key in LangSmith.
2. In Caliber, open **Settings → Integrations → LangSmith**.
3. Paste the key and select workspaces as prompted.

**What Caliber reads:** Root runs across configured projects for the live-agents feed.
{% endtab %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.trycaliber.ai/connect-your-providers/ai-observability.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
