# Self-serve install

Self-serve Caliber Analysis install without MDM.

When MDM is not ready yet, people can install the **caliber-analysis** Claude Code plugin from the marketplace (version guidance appears in-app / plugin README; use a current release such as ≥ 0.5.1 when prompted). This is the self-serve path for part of the Caliber station plugin.

## What it does

* Ships **client-redacted** transcript messages to your org’s Caliber ingest endpoint
* Uses local capture config under `~/.caliber/` (for example `capture.json`)
* Hooks into Claude Code stop (and optional sweeper) flows

## What it does not do

* It is not a silent keylogger of every app on the machine
* Secrets matched by the client redactor are stripped **before** upload

Admins still mint the org ingest / enrollment path from **Settings → Integrations**. Prefer [Deploy with MDM](/caliber-station-plugin/deploy-with-mdm.md) for consistent fleet coverage.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.trycaliber.ai/caliber-station-plugin/self-serve-install.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
