# Deploy with MDM

Push the Caliber station plugin with Jamf, Kandji, or Intune using an org ingest token.

Use MDM when you want consistent coverage of the Caliber station plugin across the org.

## Generate a token

1. Sign in to Caliber as an **admin**.
2. Open **Settings → Integrations → Caliber Analysis (MDM)**.
3. Generate an org ingest token (shown as a Bearer token / `clbi_…` style secret).
4. Copy the Jamf/Kandji one-liner or the Intune script from the modal.

Treat the token like a production secret. Rotate it if it leaks.

## Deploy

| MDM           | Pattern                                                                |
| ------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Jamf / Kandji | Run the curl one-liner as the **logged-in user** (user-context policy) |
| Intune | Use the macOS script from the modal |

{% hint style="danger" %}
Do **not** run the installer as root. Identity and Claude login context break when the wrong user runs the script.
{% endhint %}

## How Caliber maps a laptop to a person

Email resolution uses (in practice) Claude login identity, optional `CALIBER_EMAIL`, and/or git config. See the live guide for the current order:

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.trycaliber.ai/caliber-station-plugin/deploy-with-mdm.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
